Department of Chemistry

                The department started functioning from the very inception of Nevjabai Hitkarini College. Both theory and laboratory teaching program for UG have started from 1972. The department has the distinction of starting the PG program in chemistry from 2013. Besides, the state of the art PG and research laboratory were established. The Department of chemistry is committed to provide knowledge, skill and seeks to mould students into multifaceted persons capable of facing the challenges in rapidly changing world. Department of Chemistry offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with practically focused multidimensional quality learning experience in excellent techno-savvy academic environment.

               To inculcate effective learning abilities and research skill, to extend the intellectual depth, to make student creative, innovative and self-reliant, department is always ahead in performing the various academic activities. The faculty of the department comprises qualified and goal-oriented members. To cater the needs of students, laboratories are well equipped with advanced instruments and technique.
