CELL AGAINST RAGGING, SEXUAL HARASSMENT, GENDER BIAS AND STUDENT GREVIANCES

As per the UGC guidelines Anti ragging and Anti Sexual Harassment Cell has been established by the College to provide a safe academic, healthy environment and congenial atmosphere to the students and staff. This cell helps the students to record their complaints and solve their problems related to academics, resources and personal grievances. 

Anti Sexual Harassment cell assures all the complaints of the students, teaching and non-teaching staff are treated with dignity and respect and the complaints should be maintained confidential.

The person or student who has any queries, complaints and assistance, they should contact the committee member.

Roles and Responsibilities

All the members of committee, teaching staff and administrative staff continuously monitor the class room, canteen, Hostel, Library and college premises.

To registered the complaints of students and parents and keep it confidential.

To find the students who is mentally weak or abnormal and watch their activity.

To provide the assistance and mental satisfaction to students and parents.

To create awareness on gender equality among college students and community people.

To protect students from ragging hazards and sexual harassment.

To aware students penal laws, healthy social relation through awareness programs.

To develop the guidelines and norms for a policy against sexual harassment.

To provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination

To create the awareness among the students about ill effects of ragging and sexual harassment.
